Our standard rate is £90 per kit (around 20–30 items). If you book your next inspection within 6 months, the price drops to £80 per kit.
Got a bigger kit or multiple sets of gear? Let’s have a chat – we’re happy to work out a deal that fits your needs.

“Failed with Love”

Sometimes during a LOLER inspection, an item doesn’t pass the safety check – and that’s what I call “Failed With Love”. I know how much your kit means to you, not just in cost but in the trust you’ve built using it every day. When something fails, it’s never about catching you out – it’s about keeping you safe and making sure you can keep working with confidence.
I’ll always explain exactly why it failed and help you figure out the best next step, whether that’s repair, replacement or finding an alternative.

Your LOLER Inspection

Preparation

To make your inspection quick, accurate, and hassle-free, please have the following ready:

  • Clean Your Kit – Remove mud, sap and debris so equipment can be examined properly.
  • Bring Any Receipts – Useful for verifying age and purchase history.
  • I.D. Marks – Ensure your equipment is clearly and permanently marked for
    identification.
  • Empty Your Bag – No extra tools, PPE or unrelated items in your climbing bag –
just the kit to be inspected.
  • Rope Ends – If ropes have been cut, bring the ends for inspection where possible.
  • Leave Out Failed or Non-LOLER Items – Don’t include equipment that has already
failed inspection or items not covered by LOLER (e.g., clothing, chainsaws, etc.).
  • Previous LOLER Reports – If available, attach or bring copies to help track
    inspection history.
